When Gerhard and Atina Engstler founded GMT Gummi-Metall-Technik GmbH in Bühl in 1968, they laid the foundation for the development of a successful family owned company. What began back then with courage, technical expertise and entrepreneurial vision continues to this day to stand for innovative strength, dynamism and a consistent focus on the needs of our customers and markets.
In a short time, GMT evolved from a local craft business into an internationally recognized specialist in research, development and production in the field of vibration technology. Today, with more than 1,100 employees, the GMT Group is a globally active partner to industry. Our own production and sales locations in Brazil, England, France, India, Ireland, Malaysia and the U.S. ensure a global presence, high flexibility and maximum delivery capability.
