Separators

Rubber-metal composite components are used in shipbuilding for separators to reliably reduce vibrations, shocks and noise. They combine the high load-bearing capacity of the metal parts with the elastic damping properties of the rubber, thereby protecting separators and adjacent structures. Typical applications include the elastic mounting and decoupling of separators in the engine room under maritime operating conditions.
