Refurbishment
Sustainable, cost-effective and high-performance
The GMT Group is known for its intelligent remanufacturing concepts for rubber-metal components and air spring systems, which optimally combine technical excellence, sustainability and cost-effectiveness. Our structured remanufacturing process creates new performance from proven components - precisely, safely and in compliance with standards.
The first step involves the professional disassembly of the components. Elastomer parts are carefully separated from the metal and individual components without damaging them. We then subject all reusable parts to a comprehensive inspection: visual and dimensional checks, non-destructive testing procedures and functional evaluations ensure that only technically sound components are reused.
Suitable metal and individual parts are professionally reconditioned, cleaned and - if necessary - reworked. When combined with newly manufactured elastomer or system components, this results in remanufactured products that meet the same high standards for quality, safety and performance as new parts from GMT.
This refurbishment approach offers clear added value:
- Conservation of resources through the reuse of high-quality components
- Cost efficiency through reduced material and manufacturing costs
- Technical reliability through tested and approved processes
- Sustainability throughout the entire product life cycle
By remanufacturing rubber-metal components and air spring systems, the GMT Group takes responsibility - for the environment, economic efficiency and the long-term success of our customers. Preserving what’s proven, renewing performance: Remanufacturing made by GMT
